Childrens Bike Size Guides
Sizes work slightly differently for children in their teens than they do for younger children. For the younger children, up to age 12, we can select the right size bike based on its wheel size. Use the following table as a guide:
| Age | Height | Wheel Size Required | Show Bikes |
| 2 – 4 years | 85 – 100cm | 12″ wheels | Boys / Girls |
| 3 – 5 years | 95 – 110cm | 14″ wheels | Boys / Girls |
| 5 – 7 years | 110 – 120cm | 16″ wheels | Boys / Girls |
| 7 – 9 years | 120 – 135cm | 20″ wheels | Boys / Girls |
| 9 – 12 years | 135 – 145cm | 24″ wheels | Boys / Girls |
For teenagers, and children over 145cm, we recommend bikes with 26" wheels. These are the same size as adult bikes, and we can select the right size based on the bike's frame size as the following table shows:
| Height | Frame Size | Show Bikes |
| 145 – 158cm | 13 – 14″ / XS | Show Bikes |
| 158 – 168cm | 15 – 16″ / S | Show Bikes |
This should make choosing the correct size bike for you child much more straightforward, or at least we hope so. If you have any questions that you would like clearing up, please don't hesitate to contact us using our online form.
